Transporting dangerous goods

We are one of the oldest companies carrying out this type of service.

Our company stands out in this sector, given the importance and the scarcity of carriers that transport dangerous goods (ADR). We have established ourselves as one of the most experienced companies providing this type of service, with competent personnel and the qualified vehicles.
We comply with all applicable regulations and the necessary legal requirements. And carry out continuous training for drivers and periodic inspections of vehicles, all of which are prepared to hold and transport this type of merchandise.

Different classes of ADR that we transport:

Class 2: Gases

A gas is understood as a material that at 50ºC has a pressure greater than 3 bar or at 20ºC at normal pressure is in a gaseous state.

Includes pure gases or a mixture of gases and objects containing such materials in their various forms of treatment for handling (compressed, liquefied, dissolved, refrigerated), aerosol generators.

E.g.:  Butane, oxygen, nitrogen, etc.

Class 3: Flammable liquids

They are liquids that due to the effect of heat or a flame can burn their vapors.

This class also includes solid materials in the molten state whose flash point is higher than 60ºC and are transported while hot at a temperature equal to or higher than its flash point.

E.g.: gasoline, diesel, alcohol, paints, solvents, etc.

Class 4.1: Solid flammable substances, self-reactive substances and solid desensitized explosive substances

These are materials that are capable of igniting from a spark, rubbing, and are self-reactive or explosive materials with the explosive properties neutralized (by water, alcohol, plasticizer, etc.).

E.g.: waste rubber, phosphorus, cellulose, etc.

Class 4.2: Substances that can undergo spontaneous ignition

These are materials that can spontaneously burst into flame when they come in contact with air in a short period of time (pyrophoric) and others need long periods and a large amount of material to ignite (substances susceptible to self-heating).

E.g.: powdered carbon, unstabilized fishmeal, wet cotton, white phosphorus, etc.

Class 4.3: Materials that, when they come in contact with water, emit flammable gases

Various types of materials that come into contact with water give off flammable gases.

E.g.: Barium, sodium, potassium, etc.

Class 5.1: Oxidizing materials

They are materials that react by giving off oxygen and cause or favour the combustion of other materials and the objects that contain them, without necessarily being combustible themselves.

E.g.: Nitrates, hydrogen peroxide (hydrogen peroxide) with more than 60% oxygen, etc.

Class 5.2: Organic peroxide materials

They are materials that have the property of being oxidising, combustible and also very unstable (they decompose easily at room temperature) for which reason they are usually transported with temperature regulation.

E.g.: Benzoyl peroxide, butolium peroxide, etc.

Class 6.1: Toxic Materials

This includes materials that can harm human health in small amounts or cause death by inhalation, skin absorption, or ingestion.

E.g.: cyanide, various pesticides, etc.

Class 6.2: Infectious materials

These include materials that have pathogens that can cause diseases in animals or humans.

E.g.: clinical waste.

Class 8: Corrosive substances

Materials that can damage the skin and mucous membranes caused by a chemical reaction when they come into contact with them or that can cause damage to other goods, means of transport or cause other dangers.

E.g.: sulfuric acid, nitric acid, acid electrolyte accumulators, etc.

Class 9: Various dangerous substances and objects

All materials and objects are included which, during transport pose a different hazard than those contemplated by the other classes.

E.g.: Asbestos, castor flour, self-inflating rescue devices, lithium batteries, first aid kits, materials dangerous for the environment, etc.
